Actuallly it may be one of yours but, Sam Moon and the Universal Power did it the early 70's
Comments:
I went to see Sam Moon and the Universal Power in the early 70's in PEI, in Montague PEI. They sang this song,which the most beautiful song I have ever heard to this day. My friend and I followed the band to Nova Scotia, and partied with them. I lost my shoes on the trip to NS. Sam Moon gave me his sneakers to wear home. I had them at home in Toronto for many years until my dog ate them. I remember the song was a slow, sexy,suductive song. I think the guitar player Rufuss somebody sang it. I work with Nick at Wedgewood Manor in Summerside, PE., His father played base in your band, so I asked him if he could find out what song it was. I know it is very little to go on ,but, those were fond memories for me, just wanted to share this with you.

Had the chance to see you here in Amherst for the first time since back in the '70's. My wife and I both totally loved the entire show, but thought the stories were especially great. I have a program on CFTA 107.9 FM up here which promotes local and atlantic artists and have played a few of your songs and hope to play more in the future. Attended you show last night at the Tantamar Theater in Amherst. You were an absolute delight. Your assistant was awesome, song done using the electric guitar were my favorite and your stories were great. However every song you sung was wonderful, just listening to you was great. I first joined the matt minglewood phase when my sister bought a matt minglewood cassette with songs such as "Me and my baby, east coast blues, rocket fuel, which i never hear you perform, i am going to say she misplaced the cassette....NOT.....rocket fuel was my favorite, it is so upbeat, and i never seen nor heard of that song except for that cassette. I used to stand in front of the mirror and play my sister's cassette, while holding a hairbrush for a microphone.I know the words to every song. I don't want to give my age away, but I have seen Matt in concert many, many, times in previous years at the Pond in Truro and recently performing at the Dutch Mason Concert.
