I'm so sorry for your loss...I feared that it was Stevie when I heard the last name and home town. My prize possession is an autograph Stevie gave me about 13 years ago while he was playing at the old County Line...it was signed ...THE BARRON OF BAFOUNERY (spelling?)...he was such a great entertainer..God Love Him..God Bless!

Matt:
Our sympathies to you and your family during such a difficult time, from both my wife and I and, I'm certain, everyone else in this neck of the woods. It somehow seems wrong that the very roads that bring us home can take us so far away from those we love.
Just as your music has provided comfort to many of us in unhappy times, I hope your memories of better days will give that same comfort to you and yours. You'll be in our thoughts and prayers.

It has been three weeks since my wife ( a new Minglewood fan ) and I saw Matt perform the Story in South River and I still haven't stopped hummin MInglewood tunes.
I have seen many artists perform live over the years but have never been more entertained than I was on Apr. 27 /05.
All the Maritimers should be proud of the ambassadors they have in Babs & Matt.
It has been 26 years since I first heard Matt perform at the Northlands Coliseum and have been enjoying his music ever since.
Keep up the excellent work and some of the old patriots wouldn't mind a new release if you catch the dirft.
Thanks for the years of entertainment and for South River it was a pleasure meeting you and Babs, hope your golf swing is everything you expect it to be this season.

I have just moved to P.E.I from Australia and it has just been recently that i heard Matt's music. I am a blues loving girl and was very impressed when i heard it at a friends house. Those same friends rang and asked if we wanted to go to the gig at Trailside cafe on the 14th may and of course we accepted. It was also great to be able to sign your guestbook, thanks for the great music and look forward to hearing you at the cafe!

Comments:
Hi y'all.

My band at that time, had the dubious distinction of being the openning act on the last night Bobby Woods played with Matt. It was a Beer Garden in Trenton, Nova Scotia.

Several years later I was working at an electronics store in Vancouver and in walks...Bobby Woods. He remembered me and we had a great chat.

I will never forget that night because it was my first time playing with such a "kick-ass" sound and light show.

Keep on "rocking the blues".

Mr. Ed

Hey Matt...I recv'd my cds ordered on line in record time..tks.

It is awesome to hear that music again...the memories of growing up on the East coast, couldn't miss a live show of yours in Pictou Co or at the Crow in Sydney when I attended UCCB. Hey at least I remember to music...lol

Had lost my collection of Minglewood music after a series of moves and thank heavens I found your site and can replace them. My teenage children are hooked also....they can't wait to do our road trip to NS this summer with your music cranked all the way! Will be checking this site for dates...hope we can catch you live somewhere while we are "down home". Thanks for sharing your awesome talent with us for so many years. Take Care!
