the one about letting go (the 14yr old dog)
Comments:
I took my 14 yr. old son to the show in Shelburne last night and he got to play with Mr. Minglewood after the show. I just want to say "THank You!!". He walked out of that building floating 10ft high off the ground. He can't wait to see Matt Minglewood again.

Matt Minglewood is a wonderful person, THANK YOU again!

Comments:
I finally was able to catch the Story at the Kepawa last night and was not disappointed. I love the new stuff every bit as much as the old tunes. If the diverse ages of your audience last night is any indication, you're gonna be around for a long time. Good news for us die-hard fans! Can't wait for the next cd to add to my collection, and hope you continue to be brushed by the wings of an angel!

Caught Matt's solo, acoustic performance; The Story, this week in Moncton, NB. What a wonderful evening! Matt's stories between songs were so funny and told with such style. If you ever wanted to have Matt over for a good time, old fashion, kitchen party; go see The Story concerts. Although an acoustic show, the Big Red gibson did get a workout. It was so nice to see Matt in such an intimate setting. I especially enjoyed his piano playing and the new material (about 50% of show was new songs)

Matt, first saw you in Moncton at the Metro Club. Still remember how you walked to the back of the room on the tables playing East Coast Blues ... one of the best live performances I have ever seen. Love your song ... Brushed By The Wings Of an Angel.

Been along time since I caught you last time was the Boo Pub in Lovely Downtown Coquitlam. I think that was the last time I was there, don't know about you. First time, the Infamous Maples, then Barrymores, And finally the west coast. Been up here for 18 yrs now and been trying to get you booked here, but no where is big enough. Saw you were going into Bourbon West in P.C. and this time I'm flying down to catch you. Tell that Bum Steve at Bourbon to save me a ticket, I think a couple of thou. for plane tickets should be enough to cover the cost.

Hello there Matt. Congrats on the award at the ECMA'S. I can't wait to get to Halifax in August to see you on the 8th. The last time I saw you guys was at Daniel's Beverage room about two years ago. The whole Batherson clan and friends made the drive from the Northside. We left a party at Matt and Kay's.
I was wondering if we will ever be able to get any of the older albums that are not listed on the website? I would love a copy of The Promise and Out On A Limb.
You should look at getting a gig stateside here in Virginia. There is a great outdoor venue here called Wolftrap. They have every kind of music. In fact, Natalie Mac Master is here later this summer. I would love to see some great maritime music and blues. Check out the website. www.wolf-trap.org.
Later Matt and see you in August

Guestbook Administrator's Comment:
Hey Brent,
The only Minglewood recordings available on cd are the 'Red Album',Me & The Boys,Drivin' Wheel,One Caper After Another and the new live one 'Live at Last'(hot, a must for any Minglewood fan). Hopefully we will have them all on Cd someday, 'Out On A Limb' is one of my favorites and my album has seen better days. Will keep you posted if and when it or 'The Promise'is released on cd.
Meanwhile Matt is currently busy working on his first acoustic cd of all newly penned tunes which will be released in Oct/04
Hope you get the opportunity to catch his solo show 'The Story' when you are in Nova Scotia this August.
Regards
Barbara Batherson

G'day Matt and the Band

I remember seeing you at the Port Hawkesbury and Port Hood Arena's many years ago. Also seen you a couple of times in Fredericton N.B. and in Halifax (Misty Moon). I also did an interview with you guys for a weekly TV Guide in Fredericton.

Have you ever thought of coming down under, if so be sure to make Adelaide one of your stops.

Cheers Mate!
