Awesome night! We are still raving about how great you were. If possible you are getting better with age. We were disappointed there was nowhere to buy your cds at the show. Where can we get the song Kandahar? Great song

Just wanted to say great show in Port Hawkesbury at the Festival of the Strait. We are big fans, and haven't had a chance to see the band in a few years. Brought back lots of memories of the Carriage House. Glad to see The Hat back where it belongs too. Keep on rockin' the blues.

Comments:
Hi Matt and Folks, was talking to hubby from Kandahar and he wants me to buy the song "Keep your head down (Kandahar)". He hasn't heard it yet but really would love to. How and where do I purchase it!!! Fantastic song, so in keeping with Matt Minglewood and Band tradition. Got to find this song. It is playing on the radio in Fredericton.

How High is High Enough
Comments:
I want to thank you for all the years of great music you have given to your fans. I had not heard you in many years but was fortunate enough to snag a ticket for your birthday celebration at the Marquee Club. What can I say but it was a great night, the music was awesome brought tears to my eyes a few times. You are getting better with age. Hope whoever walked away with your hat had the decency to get it back to you
Don't wait so long to come back to the city

I just wanted to thank you for your great show at the Osprey Theatre last week. We are still talking about it. My wife bought your CD and got your autograph afterwards. We have been playing it nonstop! Our favorite songs are Brushed by the Wings of an Angel, Dorchester and the Patriot Game. Your piano player was exceptional! Thanks for the music!

There are three things that I now know get better with age. Wine, cheese and Matt Minglewood. Your performance last night in Truro was outstanding. Your stories were very entertaining. Your playing of Big Red was awesome. Your key board shuffle was amazing. Your Blues singing was the best I have ever heard you. The 80 ies were great however you are in your prime at 61, Bravo. Your rendition of Working Man sent chills up my spine.......then when you sang Can't Ya See I thought I was going to jump out of my skin. It was spectacular. You are truly a wonderful Entertainer. A gifted Man and a name that certainly represents the true meaning of a Cape Bretoner. The old saying behind every great Man there is an even greater woman holds true for you as well. Babs it was a pleasure speaking with you. You certainly are a friendly Caper! I wish you both many more years of success and love. I look forward to seeing you again.

Nice article written up in the Times & Transcript, Friday May 25 in the Editorial section about a young lad growing up listening to his favorite musician.
Fast forward a 'couple' of years to the Rockin Rodeo where you played last week, and one can sense the wonder and awe, through his writing, of watching a true musician perform.
Nice tribute!
